Jupiter, FL. July 12, 2023 – Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings LLC, (dba “Aquafinity”) announced the acquisition of Aquatic Environmental Systems, Inc. (“AES”), based in Tempe, AZ.  AES becomes the fourth company in the Aquafinity family and contributes its leading market position in the Southwest to Aquafinity’s expanding geographic presence.

AES, founded in 1983, provides full-service water treatment solutions to commercial and institutional swimming pools throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and west Texas.  The AES team, including Ralph Vatalaro, its founder and CEO, will continue with the company and lead Aquafinity’s efforts in the Southwest. “Our entire team is excited to join the Aquafinity family, as it will enhance our ability to provide a higher level of service to our customers. It will also provide access to a wider range of products, programs, and services that will improve the efficiency of sustainable pool operations, and promote the ultimate in health and safety of the swimmers. We have long recognized the members of the Aquafinity family as the industry leaders in providing outstanding service to the recreational water market, and are proud to be part of the team,” said Mr. Vatalaro.

Aquafinity, based in Jupiter, FL, is the leading national service-supported distributor of recreational water treatment equipment, supplies, and on-site technical services to commercial and institutional aquatic facilities.  With this acquisition, Aquafinity will have operations in [16] states, covering the entire Sunbelt from coast-to-coast.  AES adds to Aquafinity’s extensive history, as the four operating companies now comprising Aquafinity have over [175] years of combined experience delivering recreational water treatment solutions to thousands of commercial and institutional customers throughout the US and select international markets.

The transaction closed on June 30, 2023.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
