Jupiter, FL. May 1, 2025 – Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings LLC, (dba “Aquafinity”) announced the acquisition of Aquatic Specialty Services, Inc. (“ASSI”), based in Seattle, WA. ASSI becomes the fifth company in the Aquafinity family and contributes its leading market position in the Pacific Northwest to Aquafinity’s expanding geographic presence.
ASSI, founded in 2001, provides full-service water treatment solutions to commercial and institutional swimming pools throughout Washington State, Oregon, and Alaska. The ASSI team, including co-founder, Dan Richards, will continue with the company, leading Aquafinity’s efforts in the Pacific Northwest.
Aquafinity, based in Jupiter, FL, is the leading national Service-Supported Distributor (SSD®) for recreational water treatment equipment, supplies, and on-site technical services to commercial and institutional aquatic facilities. With this acquisition, Aquafinity will have operations in 19 states, covering the entire Sunbelt from coast-to-coast as well as the Pacific Northwest. ASSI adds to Aquafinity’s extensive history, as the five operating companies now comprising Aquafinity have over 209 years of combined market leadership delivering recreational water treatment solutions to many thousands of commercial and institutional customers throughout the US and select international markets.
